Exuma Southbound Celebration
Traveled from Nassau down the Exumas ending in George Town in April of 2025 to celebrate T's retirement.
The Boat: 2022 Bali 4.8
We travelled in luxury on a 2022 Bali 4.8 sailboat with 6 bedrooms and 6 baths. Bali's are famous for their spacious interior, large flybridge, well-appointed galley and of course, their innovative "Bali Door" that blends the indoor and outdoor spaces in a way that no other vessel can.
The Journey: We set sail from Palm Cay Marina, New Providence Island, and spent the first night on the hook by the beach at Rose Island. We worked our way south through The Exumas. Widely regarded as the Best of the Bahamas, The Exuma Cays boast 365 islands and cays to peek your curiosity and overload your senses. Stopping in world famous destinations like Staniel Cay and Wardrick Wells inside the Exuma Land & Sea Park, we enjoyed pristine beaches, amazing marine life and sunsets that are out of this world.
The trip through The Exumas was a once in a lifetime opportunity to connect with nature as dolphins put on a show for us and we anchored each night behind small islands in shallow bays filled with coral, fish, turtles and rays. With stops at the Thunderball Gratto for snorkelling and the Exuma Land & Sea Park where enjoyed the beach and snorkeled, we made memories with friends that will last a lifetime.
